Combining Bikram with Ashtanga Vinyasa
Andrea’s classes combine Bikram Yoga, a technique developed from traditional Hatha practice, and the demanding Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series. Sessions flow as each posture is a preparation for the next asana. Andrea’s lessons are slow moving and mindful with movement and breath aligned, working every muscle, joint and ligament in a strong yet gentle practice. They are accessible and effective for beginners, those with injuries and the experienced practitioner.

Yoga has gradually opened my heart to an infinite world of ancient wisdom and knowledge.
Andrea began Yoga ten years ago to counterbalance the effects of running. Her interest developed through reading philosophy and scientific research related to yoga. She travelled to yoga schools in India, absorbing the knowledge of teachers from different backgrounds, before training to become an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher in the Himalayas in 2013.
My love affair with this incredible country will never end. There is countless evidence on how yoga improves the metabolism of every cell in the body. Balancing the nervous system, improving concentration, sleep cycles, digestion and immunity – the list goes on.
