Es Vedra iis an impressive island, rising to 400mts. Legends, both ancient and modern, abound. Some say that no one has ever died on the island, others attribute a supernatural magnetism that creates extrasensory experiences.

In the nineteenth century Es Vedra was a refuge for the Discalced Carmelite Francesc Palau. He survived eating gull eggs and drinking rainwater that was stored inside a cave . The Catalan mystic has reported that he had lived inexplicable experiences in Vedra.

A Mountain Bike tour route along the coast of Santa Eulària, finishing on the black sands of Cala Boix beach. Cala Boix is famous for the dark sand, and it offers a long gentle walk from the beach out into the crystal-clear water. There is always a gentle breeze and the sea is bright turquoise
